I wanted to take a moment to thank you and your crew for hosting the San Diego Fine Woodworkers Association Shop Tour last Saturday.

The tour and presentation were above and beyond anything I had even hoped for. We expected to be there about an hour and had to leave, reluctantly, after two hours while you were still going strong. Your enthusiastic delivery and detailed demonstrations of your techniques will surely inspire many who attended to consider integrating veneering into their projects.

I brought my wife, Mary, along who is not a woodworker but has an appreciation for fine work. She was fascinated by your presentation and very iimpressed with how clearly you articulated many concepts that were new to her. She now has a much better appreciation for the role and beauty of veneer in furniture making. I noticed her spending a lot of time admiring the work in your showroom. Perhaps this was not the brightest move on my part...

I know that it takes a lot of work to prepare for and produce one of these events. Many thanks to you and your staff for so generously hosting us and sharing your wealth of knowledge so freely.
